Put in my 2 weeks notice at my "9-5".
Crazy. I've been documenting a bit of the journey on here. Back when I got my GH5, to the Sony A7R3, and the 2 RED Komodos.
Started in my parents home making beats and videos for friends, moved out and worked out of a spare bedroom in my house, converted the garage into a studio, got a commercial space and started to work out of there, and now finally, after fighting the anxiety of fully taking the leap, as of next Friday the 19th I'll be 100% self employed working out of my commercial office space and continuing to build a team. God is good.

I have a YouTube channel where I display some of my video work and used to do a weekly podcast.
I need to get back into the podcast asap and focus it 100% on speaking with business owners and offer marketing recommendations for their business.
That way it'll have multiple benefits: more content is always a good thing, extended reach since guests love sharing stuff they are on, and I would get to showcase my expertise in the field of marketing which is what I shifted the business model to in order to secure more clients that need full support beyond just a video or photo shoot. Now I approach every client with a marketing package that encompasses video production, photography, social media management, web design, logo design, and branding. I don't do it all myself either. I'm mainly on the video side of things but I learned that higher paying clients want wrap around services and they see value in the one stop shop experience so I brought several of my guys in to help with the things I'm not strong in or just simply don't have the interest in doing.
