Now you're trying to flip the argument and be obtuse. We said the games recently released have been ninth gen exclusives. Don't go bring up games from 2&3 years ago. Just say you can't afford a PS5 so that's why you don't see the point upgrading. If you start saving now you can be ready for the PS6

I have a PS5 Pro.

I stand on my theory that there would be no point in going PS6 if the games are cross gen. Why bother when the PS5 Pro runs at 60fps for all title?

Im all about innovation. Something needs to be done about cross gen.

Open more studios strictly for Next Gen games. Make games only exclusive to PS6, while having 'some' cross gen from PS5.

Wolverine, Witcher 4, and GTA 6, should be PS6 exclusive.

You keep contradicting yourself then. You're not for next gen if you say Battlefield 6 should run on the PS4. Your points are non sense that's how I know you're just arguing just for the sake of it.

Battlefield 4 had 64 vs 64 with levolution.

Ghost of Yotei is practically similar to Ghost of Tsushima. GOT was 60fps on Ps4.


If you have a Ps5 or PS5 Pro, theoretically you're good until Ps7.

My point was,

There's no real difference between PS4 and PS5 because a lot of games are cross gen. I just named 4 system sellers and all of them are cross gen. We got Battlefield 6 at the END of this generation.



Why buy a PS6 if the same games are on PS5 with marginal differences? We already have 60fps. PSSR. Etc.


If PS6 only had exclusives and not this cross gen BS then it would be worth it.

We are at the end of the console cycle and just now getting Ps5 exclusives. Is that not something that needs to change?

Doing some introspective thinking now, I do have some concerns with Ps6 coming.

What did most of this generation consist of? We mostly been getting cross-platform games and remakes. Hardly any exclusives. Had a person stayed with the Ps4, they wouldn't have noticed any difference because all the games we have now can be played on Ps4. Ghost of Yotei and Battlefield 6 can be played on the Ps4


We are just NOW getting next gen type games e.a. Witcher 4, Gta 6, Wolverine, Intergalactic.

What would be the point in upgrading to Ps6? The graphics will be marginally better at a slightly higher resolution. The Ps5 is almost future proof, the Ps5 Pro even more so since a lot of games are now 60fps standard.

Makes you want to skip Ps6 and wait on the PS7 for a massive difference

Lol you cant have this take here with these stans but I agree.

Consoles have reached the point of cellphones where youre only getting marginal upgrades instead of generational leaps.

Theres been very few experiences that feel like they are only possible on current gen.
