Where are ya'll getting that there's no tax on digital? Maybe that's region dependent or something, but I've definitely paid tax on digital purchases for the past several years for sure.

same for PS with an exception sometime late last year/early this year the PS store started charging tax all of a sudden but they haven’t done so recently

Same I think it’s mainly because I want to pre load the games and be ready to play at midnight that spoiled me to a point where I’m never buying physical

I ain't never seen where they charge tax in the PS Store

for me it was brief...happened maybe once or twice...and the weird thing is they applied it if I used a PSN gift card but didn’t if I used my credit card...it doesn’t do it now tho either way

Where I live they started charging tax at one point but then they stopped again. On the Switch they still charge tax
