I’m thinking about killing the PSVR 2. Is it worth it especially with the days of play sale if so, do y’all think I should wait because it might be cheaper on Black Friday this year?

Yeah you’re right about that but do you or any of the brehs that have one recommend getting it I don’t want to throw $350 away

The experience of driving in GT7 is like unbelievable. That, horizon and resident evil village were like the most stand out games for me.

but personally, i don’t think VR is for me. It’s cool for a few hours but there’s a level of discomfort with wearing something strapped to your head that I can’t get over. Maybe i would have felt different about it if it only cost $300 dollars at launch.

@Kamikaze Revy likes his i think though.

If it's worth $350 is relative to each person.
To me, it absolutely is. The experience of VR gaming is the absolute peak of gaming experiences. Playing on a TV doesn't compare.
The issue is the cost of entry + lack of major AAA support made it a tough sell for 90% of gamers, and where there are low sales, there is low support.
When it comes to GT7 specifically, playing with the PSVR2, and having the steering wheel, pedals, stick shift set up, is a mind blowing experience. The sense of scale, space, speed....it's something that has to be experienced first hand to be understood.
Outside of GT7 you have games like Resident Evil, Beat Saber, Horizon, Alien, and more that are "must plays".
The issue to me remains the motion sickness factor. There is no telling what game will give you sickness or how long you'll be able to play before feeling it.
GT7 to me is hands down, the best game in VR and it doesn't come close. VR is THE definitive way to play that game.
Most other games, feel like a great option, but for example, Resident Evil, I was able to play for an hour at a time before feeling sick; an issue of course that doesn't happen at all when playing on the TV, so many times, you might find yourself just playing on the TV if you were trying to game for a couple hours.
Hope that helps a little.
