The PSVR has been out for less than 3 months. I'd say we should start "worrying" about what games it's getting around this time next year. With that being said, I don't think wanting long ass 50+ hour games with expansion packs and season passes is a good fit for VR considering it's very taxing. I can't play VR games mad long but then again I don't have many long VR games.

Either you want vr to succeed or you don't.

If you want Sony to support everybody should be out there buying rigs,show Sony you want and will support first party vr games. Even if rigs isn't your cup of tea.


And all of these smaller experiences are transparent that it's AAA studios dipping their toes and testing the waters.


The same way they do with remasters and collections. See what the audience is interested in.


If nobody is buying them they aren't going to bother funding a bigger vr game.

Resident evil 7 is going to be the big test.


Across the industry you can bet all eyes are going to be on that games Performance on VR.
