Nope, IV was a cash grab that THQ made Volition make because they were going out of business. There's a video somewhere out there that Volition made showing what they originally wanted to do with Saints Row IV.

Am I the only one who liked 4? Really liked all the new gimmicks, felt fresh as opposed to being yet another GTA clone.

I remember being so excited to pick up 3 after the first two games. Played that shyt and sold it the same week. Game was such a disappointment. Didn't even consider 4 until it was free on Xbox live.
