Greetings, all! Been awhile since I fell up in this jawn, I gotta stop engaging in pointless arguments in other forums and stick with this thread.....

Father God, we praise Your Holy Name this day and always! We are blessed by Your Word and by the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit. We are awed by Your everlasting love and protective care for us. Thank you for watching over us and our families throughout the night, and for waking us up today in our right minds and with full usage of our limbs and articulation of our speech. Lord as we begin this week and all throughout it, we pray that you will help us to firmly establish our time with You. Keep us from fruitless activity and instead help us to stay focused on being. about Your business. Govern our hearts and our thoughts, Lord, and send your Spirit to continue to strengthen and nurture the key relationships in our lives with UNITY. Give us a oneness that commands Your blessing, Lord! We pray that you will grow us in love for You and one another every day.....in JESUS' name, amen!
I prayed this prayer at lunch today...preciate this food for the spirit brehbreh :salute:

Jesus
John 1:1-5 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

@Jerz-2 would love your thoughts
Sure thing, can touch on that topic a bit later.

Affirmation from God as you prepare to go through your day tomorrow:

"Seek to please Me above all else. Let that goal be your focal point as you go through this day. Such a mind-set will protect you from scattering your energy to the winds. The free will I bestowed on you comes with awesome responsibility. Each day presents you with choice after choice. Many of these decisions you ignore and thus make by default. Without a focal point to guide you, you can easily lose your way. That’s why it is so important to stay in communication with Me, living in thankful awareness of My Presence. You inhabit a fallen, disjointed world, where things are constantly unraveling around the edges. Only a vibrant relationship with Me can keep you from coming unraveled too."

Amen!

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who tresspas againot us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
Thine is the power, and thine is the glory,
For ever and ever,
Amen.

I pray that we all grow in our faith in God and our Lord Savior Jesus. God fill us all with the Holy Spirit and let us shine on this earth.

As we go about doing work for the Kingdom, let us be mindful of the need to develop and exhibit the same Christlike qualities as our Lord so that we may more effectively SERVE as the Lord did. Look at the text of Luke 19:1-9 (yes, I'm making you work, lol), it contains three qualities we need in order to carry out effective servanthood:

Awareness: Although surrounded by a crowd, Jesus stopped and took notice of one particular man perched in a tree. Zacchaeus was hated and rejected because he was a tax collector. Although he was rich, there was something missing in his life, and Christ recognized his need. There are people all around us "hanging in trees"--needy, empty, and searching for hope. But too often, we're preoccupied with our activities and don't even notice them.

Availability: Jesus was heading to Jerusalem to carry out the most important act in human history: our redemption. Yet He stopped to have a meal with a spiritually needy man. What could be so important that it keeps you too busy to give others what they need most--your time?

Acceptance: Although Zacchaeus was a notorious sinner, Jesus didn't say, "Clean up your act, and then I'll come to your house." We're called, not to fix people but to share the transforming gospel of Christ.

How well are you doing at serving those around you? Maybe it's time to slow down and open your spiritual eyes to see all the needy people. God places opportunities all around us, but if we're not attentive, we'll miss them. Sometimes you just have to look up to see who’s in the tree.
