like for example i quit a job and bought a new laptop thinking i was about to get this other job cause i was pretty close to snagging it, didn't get it now i'm stuck with no day job and a $400 laptop i can't return

Yea man, never quit one job before you definitely have another one in hand, like you are assured to have it. It's all gravy though. Sometimes God moves you out of one job so you can get a better opportunity down the line. You might not have a job right now, but pray and apply like crazy and one will fall through.

Yeah breh you can bounce back tho brother, but sounds like this is simply a life lesson that you learned the hard way. No need to fret though, you can easily bounce back and find a new gig. Also put that new laptop to work by applying for jobs and make that device work for you. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you fam?

Reminds me of when I decided to work for Fed Ex, instead of a department store. I ended up hating the job and quit within a few days. Anyway, I did some job searching and the exact same department store called me for the job. I ended up with a better position, than the previous one that they had offered. Look at the decision as a gateway for something bigger. Maybe starting some freelance work on the side. We as people think that we make the worst decisions in the world, but in reality those same decisions have different directions that will steer you into the right direction in your life. As long as you keep going the right path, instead of making erratic turns for the worst.

any of you brothers have any tips or advice on decision making? these past few months i feel like i'm being tested with big decisions in my life and no matter how much i try to do it in faith it still seems as though i'm making the wrong choices

God is the guide, but it's up to the man makes the decision.

Struggles are inherited in our lives, sometimes in despair we let go of the faith because we don't find the answers, but it is at that moment that the grace of God manifests to the one who believes.

But, remember that the reward doesn't come without fight. Going through these situations as grown man and having responsibilities is not easy, but don't let it get you down.

Pray with confidence, talking to Him, ask Him for power and to show you the right path. God doesn't forget you so don't forget to thank Him everyday for everything you've achieved so far, He will bless you.
