last night i was watching a sermon on "god is with you in the battle" and i really helped me understand my faults i been going thru some depression these past couple months and it helped me realize God is never distant..matter of fact when he feels distant is when hes the most closest , my issue is i always make a plan and expect God to do it...now i finally understand that God has his own plans for you it may not make sense at the moment but its way better than you ever imagine

exactly what gave me most comfort was that when bad stuff are happening and you still keep faith alive.... God is already working on great things coming to you..its just hard sometimes...i have highs and lows everyday at times i feel like im naive and dumb to keep faith alive...but i always pray for strength and help

Anyone else have difficulty praying for those who wrong you? Everyday I try to do it but negative thoughts come up on my mind that makes me wanna say “fukk them” and not pray for them

I only pray for people who have wronged me if they are suddenly in my thoughts. I also pray for God to teach my how to forgive them.

Forgiveness isn't about thinking that what they did was ok, it's more about eliminating hateful thoughts towards them, eliminating any grudge you have against them, and taking away the power they have against you.

Put it in God's hands

Mark 11:25-26 KJV
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. [26] But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.


Forgiving those who have wronged you allows the power and love of Christ to flow through you. It is most definitely hard at times but also remember not everyone can forgive as they don't have Christ.
