Understood. So am I, but with gods help I’ve been slaying my past struggles in the last month or so. Just straight up deleting apps, cutting things out completely, cutting out forms of entertainment, etc. Just cutting a lot of things out that may lead to temptation. As the word says:
“And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for. thee that one of thy members should perish, and. not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.”

Understood. We all struggling with it. But if we just cut things out and not put ourselves in positions to be tempted, God will help us conquer these struggles. You know what your weak points are, and you know which places, apps, ppl, lead you to temptation the most. You gotta cut them out of your life.
They keep me sane
I been on a big gorilla faith kick lately with the decisions that me and my wife currently making. So we are trying to move away from the country to build on a dream of ministry (her helping out the youth and me helping out people in general). So I left a stressful job and she about to leave hers as she already had two interviews with the recruiter (English teaching). We pretty much got rid of most our belongings besides clothes, laptops, and other essentials. Apart of me thinks this is stupid but spiritually I feel like this is the best move possible for our growth. Yet, my flesh is in a battle that I maybe making a big mistake. I'm praying on it but man this is a big step in a path that he chose for us to walk on...
Indeed. God is good. Its a struggle to understand his ways but I know that he has us covered through this crazy decision.

Part of the battle is realizing that you’re in a battle. We battle the flesh daily. Dying to self and killing and annihilating the flesh on a daily basis. Praying for repentance daily. Repenting for sins both conscious and sub conscious. That’s pretty much what I do. I realize it’s a war. A war we gotta fight daily until the day we die and are judged by God. We’ll have to give an account for everything we’ve done. But as long as we’re alive, we have to battle the flesh daily. Yes we all sin, and we will never be perfect, but we shouldn’t wallow in the sin, or willfully and intentfully sin.
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Amen I blocked all porn from both my MacBook and phone, I also realized I need to block Twitter, because I would find myself going to certain stars, Twitter pages, so I completely blocked the site, it’s been working but it’s only been a week.

This verse really hits home for me. I don’t know why. But I get emotional when I hear this verse. Like teary eyed. Maybe because it’s a verse that was from my childhood that we would often repeat and as a kid, you just repeat verses because your parents force you to go to church. But as an adult, it hits different:
