How is Duva disappointed with the ref when her fighter did at least half the holding and usually was the passive half in the clinch?
Also the ref always immediately broke them up for 3-4 rounds he started to let things flow from the fifth and I think it's good that he let cause inside fighting or dare I say not fighting in Kovalev's preferred range is a part of boxing and we didn't just see a passive holdig/clinch fest á'la Wlad but we saw two fighters rough each other up on the inside which was entertaining to most of us.
I swear these motherfukkers always have something to bytch about.
If the opponent doesn't stay in the puncher's preferred range they either complain abut the opponent "running" or if the opponent goes on the inside they are having problem with the ref...

.....cause ward just looked so stiff and slow. like he just got up out of bed or some shyt. that knockdown woke him all the way up though. it was crazy seeing him adjust like that. from the 3rd round on kov was having serious trouble landing a clean shot on him. ward started timing him and getting his distance down. it's like he knew exactly where each punch was gonna be. despite his adjustments kov still managed to fool him a few times and catch him slipping. especially with the jab. I seen people saying ward made kov look foolish in the 2nd half, but I didn't see that at all. kov still looked great, ward just looked a little better. it was a real back and forth chess match. they both deserve respect for their performances. I just can't wait for the rematch so ward can really dominate and shut all these people the fukk up. now that ward has kov's timing and spacing down, he's gonna get a WIDE decision in the rematch.
