Bring back the Golden Era
"Play it First, Play it Better"

If Sony woulda cut that middle portion out, it would have been a really good conference. It was ehhh overall, but they had their moments.
Fact of the matter is it's a game show and they spent 30+ minutes on bullshyt. They have a compelling lineup and I know they'll deliver because they have an A+ track record with games. I'm not worried about them.how so?...yall still wouldn't have been happy....ms did nothing but games, people complained...sony does games and other info (cause they have numbers to brag about), people complain.....the only way yall wouldn't is if yall were running the show....
another point: the show aint catered to yall cause yall don't buy games like that....yall call yallselves hardcore gamers, but you know who spends the money? the casuals...that's why they show shyt yall don't care about...

Why this thread popping over the Xbox E3 thread??C'mon breh that's crazy. M$ killed it letting y'all tell it. But some of y'all bots posting more in here than y'all home turf![]()
go talk about crackdown or some sh1t

They lack leadership that's why. Im really starting to think something wrong with the un-fantastic fourWhy this thread popping over the Xbox E3 thread??![]()

MS' conference was mostly fluff, in my opinion. Decade old games, third party stuff and a bunch of CGI trailers is not impressive to me at all.![]()
Because what WE want to see is gameplay. It's 2014; CGI trailers should be a thing of the past.but yall acting like they don't do this at every e3...they always spend time on other shyt, cause that other shyt makes money.....also, they always talk about numbers, the only time they don't is when the numbers don't look good....
i'm just saying: a lot of yall complaining just to complain it seems to me...they give yall want yall want, but instead of enjoying it, yall focus on the shyt yall didn't like...
if a game isn't ready to be shown, a CGI trailer will be shown. Why even release a clip of a game in early developement when it's subject to change?? They'll show a clip of a game that's really early and people will scrutinize it and complain about it looking bad.Because what WE want to see is gameplay. It's 2014; CGI trailers should be a thing of the past.
no i'm not saying it's cgi fam....I'm saying it using the game's engine, just not taken from actual gameplay...look at the nikkas face man...c'mon man....
and the 2K trailer was dope but nothing looked like it wasn't gameplay...
i've played every uncharted....I know what ND can bring to the table...I've also played A LOT of video games over the years and i've seen cut-scenes using in-game gfx and ones using the game's engine and ones with cgi....
I havent been fooled in years....on any console
They still haven't learned from the Infamous debacle. Dudes are going to be sick to their stomachs when Uncharted drops and it's visibly as impressive as it was when it was revealed.@PS4 talkin that good shyt but he's an uncharted stan. guarantee he'll pick up a ps4 just to play itThey still haven't learned from the Infamous debacle. I mean I don't even know why these nikkas bother at this point anymore. Like give it upThey still haven't learned from the Infamous debacle. Dudes are going to be sick to their stomachs when Uncharted drops and it's visibly as impressive as it was when it was revealed.
. ND's work is unmatched in the industry. THEY always hold the throne for most impressive looking games on consoles. She's pretty fukking credible.Game development
Yu's early career was as an elite programmer for the King's Quest series for the Apple II although she had her own 3D engine projects that she sold to various companies.[2] She programmed for QuickDraw 3D, an early rasterisation API.[2] She worked on the game Zombie, and created the video game engine used in Spec Ops.[3] In November 1997, she was employed by video game developer Ion Storm.[1] She worked on the 2001 video game Anachronox and served as Director of Technology at the studio.[1][4] While at Ion she was responsible for the Quake 2 code base and any games based on that engine.[5] In November 1998, she left Ion Storm and later became the Lead Technology Programmer at 3D Realms.[1] Yu worked as Director of Technology of Gearbox Software, creator of Brothers in Arms and Borderlands. Yu worked to heavily modify the Epic Unreal Engine 3 with an emphasis on lighting, shadows and physics.[6] Yu was a founding member of Microsoft's Direct 3D Advisory Board. She participated in CUDA and GPU simulation at NVidia.[7]
In 2008, Microsoft Studios hired Yu as the Principal Engine Architect for an internal studio, 343 Industries.[8][9] 343 Industries was established in 2007 to oversee the Halo franchise following Bungie's separation from Microsoft. Yu programmed lighting, facial animation, and developed new technology for the 2012 video game Halo 4.[10] While coding on Halo team, Yu researched new lighting techniques, and invented new dynamic radiosity algorithms. Microsoft applied a software patent for Yu's Halo lighting work.[11]
In November 2013, Yu joined video game developer Naughty Dog, a subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment, to work as a graphic programmer on Playstation 4 projects.[12]
