People want weather affects because real racing takes place in all sorts of weather

Why the fukk would you want to race in the snow?
And if that wasn't part of the design of the game, then it would just be a gimmicky tack on

Its hard enough to stay on the track without bad weather if you really think about it
Especially the hardcore games like Forza/GT

Forza horizon 2 has weather so I guess according to your logic, it ain't a serious racing game.
