Right. Depends on where you at like any other city. I live in the "hood" and it's not crazy or full of crime like artists portray.

Broward County has a higher percentage of black middle class residents than Dade. Plenty of low crime predominantly black regular neighborhoods in Broward.

Dade is Brooklyn/Manhattan. It’s Brooklyn in that historically it has the most crime and the roughest collection of neighborhoods of the 3 counties. But it’s also like Brooklyn In that, gentrification has lowered the crime in dade significantly. I think the city of Miami has its lowest annual murder total in like 5 decades these past few years. Dade is like Manhattan in that, it’s the main central business district in South Florida and receives the largest daytime population because of it. And because of tourism. Just like Manhattan. Pompano would be like Hollis or Jamaica I guess. Large ADOS+Caribbean population. Some parts hold some parts middle class. Hell, you can even compare these area of SoFla to area of Los Angeles. To me, Carol City/Miami Gardens is Compton all the way. Historically middle class black area that became somewhat high crime.
