7 episodes just not enough. Things didn't really start until episode 3. Kinda left me underwhelmed.
I guess the Front Man kept Gi-Hun alive to psychologically torment him some more. I'm a little surprised the old man is the mole in Ha-Joon's group. I'm curious to see how he's connected to Ha-Joon's brother/Front Man.
Gi-hun is not the brightest lol.
It was a plan doomed to fail from the beginning. It only got so far because the Frontman was temporarily on their side.fukk I’m super bummed that the revolt didn’t work, I was super invested in that!

Yes. They did a good job transitioning into a second season and made it more interesting than the first. It makes me think of how shytty the second Avatar is.

It's hard to repeat the initial shock factor of the first season and this season suffered from it. There really wasn't any in the 7 episodes, not even the twists caught me surprised. Just like I said for The Bear season 3, if I'm grading this with the standards of Squid Game. It was a decent season. The acting and tension was still top notch but in the back of my mind, I knew the plans would fail for both Gi-hun and the cop.

I'm not sure why people would want a repeat of the first season. Very hard to replicate that. I enjoyed this season, even though it felt a little short. I like that the overarching story is not contained to just 7 or 8 episodes. Something like this is not supposed to be easily able to be shut down.
The only issue I had with this season is that it felt a little more comedic than dark. Not a lot of backstabbing or other machinations.

I liked the first couple of episodes. Everything was really well directed & it was cool to see Seung get back at them people
But after the 1st game the tone shifted by bringing in cartoonish characters & hokey music cues. It kinda feels like a lame k-drama at some points but I'm still rocking with it.

On second thought I'm glad they drew out the plot until next season as well. Gives us some time to really bond with the characters before they kill them off 
They need to drop the new season of Alice in borderland while I wait for the final season of this
