Not gonna lie, I don't like that Squid Game becomes a sausage party during the final round in both seasons 1 and 3.

The writers couldn't make at least 1 female participant make it to the final round. That's some BS.

I don't think a spin off series will work

We, as the viewers, already know the drill by now

Season 1 worked because the viewers discovered what the games were really about while watching the show, i.e. how the money accumulates, what happens to the contestants who lose etc.

In a spin off series, viewers will know in advance what will happen. So the contestants will be all shocked to learn the truth about the games whereas the viewers will be like

I am not sure how damaged the brand is but all I am seeing on social media is people clowning it. Maybe it's just a social media thing but if they're hoping to franchise this they better come correct with Squid Games USA. I am just seeing many making fun of the tweet below

Yeah, I thought this was odd, but maybe it's intended for Korean viewers (it is a Korean show after all).

Ideally, they should've been playing an American game or a game popular in America. Rolling dice, jacks, hacky sack, or something along those lines.

Maybe they'll show that in Squid Game USA.

*Cate Blanchett is not even American (she's Australian). They should've used an American actress.

*I already said that the ddakji scene with Cate Blanchett is probably intended for Korean viewers since it's a K-drama.

*Many of the games in the series are not exclusive to Korea. Games like Red Light, Green Light; Marbles; Hide & Seek; and Jump Rope are played around the world.

I’m still watching but I just popped in this thread to say that this hide and go seek game is the dumbest game they’ve had on the show so far. There’s no sense of urgency and I’m not understanding how more people aren’t dead. Then this chick just had a baby.

I need a sleep like that CGI baby. She didn't open her eyes not once.

I binged Seasons 2 and 3 in two nights and the last two to three episodes were terrible. Non-sensical actions by literally everyone involved.

• The redundant voting during the final game
• Ji-hun's daughter and the baby are both millionaires due to his actions, but what about the families of the other players.
• Cliffhanger on the assassin's daughter

Show didn't know if it wanted to be pro-life or pro-suicide. Anti-capitalist while allowing all the villains to escape scot-free

This is why I barely watch TV anymore. These shows start off great then fall off a cliff.

I enjoyed the whole series for the most part. Thought season 3 was better than season 2, but I didn't like the ending like that.

Show kinda lost sight of what it wanted to be tho.

Enjoyed the whole show, season 3 sufferrd from the writers not actually knowing how to end it so they just went "fukk it".

Fun show overall.

I thought everyone involved in the games being so fukking evil was hilarious, like even the low level henchmen were willing to kill a fukking baby
