He willingly died knowing the Front Man would end up caring for the baby in the end.

He was dumb before the last game started not listening to the front man and killing everyone because he always wanted to try and help/save everyone, but once the last game started his only option at the end after 333 died before the button was pushed was either killing the baby or killing himself
The ending had some plot holes
I feel as though Gi-hun and Player 333 could have forced Player 100 (the old, cowardly businessman) to walk to the circle tower. Press the button to start the final round and push 100 off. Thus, the 3 of them win the game (Gi-hun, the baby, and Player 333).
It made no sense to push Player 100 before the final round.

The hide and seek episode was one of the most infuriating episodes of TV iv ever seen..

I didn’t notice the button wasn’t pressed but that doesnt matter. The father wasn’t going to kill his kid if he had an option to kill someone else. That’s why he was mad when the dude they beat up killed himself. The main character after jumping across instead of attacking the father could’ve just said when the button comes up I’ll jump and you and the kid will be safe. He attacked the guy like he was a threat just to kill himself and leave the baby alone without knowing what would take happen to it next. It doesn’t make any sense.
