I'm guessing it's similar to what was going on with the Vulcans in the Abramsverse. The scattered ones try to recollect on a new homeworld.

It's a tie for me between Discovery and Beyond

I like the Discovery look, but Beyond looks slightly more like the original.

Kurtzman and Orci need to be banished from Star trek for ever.
Everything Moonvies allowed to happen to Trek needs to be destroyed and forgotten.

Trying to pickup with the BS that Abrams universe did is a failure.
