Properly sourced information is requested for anyone who posts in the thread!
So here goes:
1 in 4 Americans meet the income based requirement for Medicaid (133% or less of the FPL)
Total Individuals Enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP in August 2016: 73,137,1546
Additional enrollment since October 2013 when the initial Marketplace open enrollment period began: 15,712,869
Medicaid: Includes those covered by Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and those who have both Medicaid and another type of coverage, such as dual eligibles who are also covered by Medicare.
Medicaid, not Medicare, is the nation's largest insurer.
