i got excited about being rewarded for teching throws. game wants you to press something at every avenue, might as well get something back for it even if it's purely defensive
Yea but the point is this presents as them incentivizing defense but it's Faustian bargain. A bar of drive gauge vs losing 50% of your life ain't a good deal:pachaha: This change makes offense stronger

Nikkas will dangle the chance at a drive gauge in front of gamblers and kill them:mjlol:

i mean the game is rock paper scissor, you always gonna guess somethin. you can respond by guessing block/throw/parry/od/super( :whoa: ). it's always a gamble. you just get something back now if you gamble correctly. why is this a bad thing?

the way you nikkas make it sound is like y'all never gonna tech a throw again

My point is nikkas ain't teching throws anyway. That's why they made that change in the first place

But again they think this will incentivize nikkas teching instead of taking 5 throws. Nothing really has changed besides the nikkas that are gonna take the bait and get smacked for 50%:russ:

It's rock paper scissors sure, but we gotta keep in mind that probabilities ain't that rigid based on what we already know about the meta. Like I said before I'm on the side of trying to get a nikka off you before you eat 5 throws. I'm still on that side and teching is still at the bottom of the list of options, before and after the change

Perfect parry is gonna be more like third strike where you have to either parry low or high and then you have to hit back at the same time to get the perfect parry. You can still parry normally tho but you gotta work for the perfect—

so no more walking forward and getting random perfects.

so no more walking forward and getting random perfects.
Good step but if the throw loops don't go, it won't work as well as they want.

It's about time nikkas have a heart to heart with themselves about SF6 because I'm seeing nikkas have the same wishes two years in

Throw loops ain't going nowhere:pachaha: perfect parry either. It's clear they're a part of the design philosophy of the game.

Nikkas also don't wanna acknowledge how intertwined SF6's mechanics are. It's all booby trapped. You can't make one large change without causing 10 more. For instance if you just outright remove throw loops what's to stop nikkas from just holding parry on every wakeup?:manny:

That drive bar for tech change, funny enough, is Capcom explicitly telling you they're not removing throw loops. Even nastier is they're basically telling nikkas to man up:mjlol: If nikkas gonna keep taking 5 throws because they're afraid to take a risk so be it

Nikkas can hate the way Noah plays, and I get it, but you ain't about to throw that nikka forever:mjlol: Nikka gonna ex dp or up forward just to show you what time he on:pachaha:

Ran a set in Namba vs this salaryman with his kid.

He was feeling himself at first with Kim teleports, until I got Manon to 4 medals. He set his kid to side and serious, he still got command grabbed.

Sent salaryman home to be a family man. :birdman:
