Any of y'all pick up Elena? She reminds me of when I was climbing the ranks with Chun; tough, but fun.
I definitely feel like I have to really earn my wins and can't cheese any victories, but her kit is so fun to mess around with that I don't care. I only wish mp~mp didn't whiff on crouch. She already doesn't c.mk DR or throw loop. Did she have to whiff on crouch so much too?
I do plan to get her up on the level of my Chun. I mess around with many characters, but Elena feels like a true secondary.

Nice. I can't seem to get a 10 streak with her, so she's in D2 atm. Been slacking since I still go back to Chun and also recently started on Akuma.

Yeah, while I was at D3 approaching D4 promotion, I got a 10 game streak and it immediately promoted me from D4 to D5 to the next match being a qaulifer for Master. Duke I was playing had already lost the first match and then got perfected the first round of the next match and then he just gave up completely mid-match in the 2nd round, lol!

I spent the last 2 months on Akuma….kinda treading water….went back to ryu….it is crazy how powerful his NORMALS are…in canon it makes sense but he might be the best neutral / normals character of all time lol….
Ryu is fukking broken now. Dude is damn near untouchable AND hits like a truck. Ain't nothing gonna change my mind besides Capcom did this for the switch launch because more people would pick it up and play as "main character man".
Well Luke's on the cover but yeah, Tekken did the same thing with Jin at release, and Heihachi. You're probably right.
I get a LOT of 1 and dones with Ryu I never do with akuma
