Never tried and serve and volley or serve wide and finish at the net, etc. Like we all have seen, her A+ power on her serve is GONE so she can't win quick and easy points anymore.

Yeah she's not explosive enough anymore to be this heavy, if she really wants that all time mark dropping 15-20 lbs would probably help

It's not mental. She isn't herself physically anymore and when she gets deeper in the tournament if the younger girls keep their wits about them they will beat her because they can move.

I've been saying this for a while now. All other athletes looking to prolong their careers do everything they can to adjust their bodies and game as they age.

Serena on the other hand looks like she put on 25 pounds

You have to give her props for the longevity, especially for women's tennis game, but it's still frustrating to see.
