She shouldn't have won that first set, Potapova kept shooting herself in the foot DFing so much.
18 UEs and 7 DFs and she barely won a TB
she simply isnt consistent enough to overcome her lazy footwork at this point in her career over the span of a grand slam tournament

yea. Thiem raised his game and Nick didn’t. Welp, Nick needs to understand the importance of taking the full season serious so he can improve his ranking points so he can avoid these kind of match ups so early in the tourney. This should have been a QF match
