Toughest Era? Negro please
Medvedev, Zverev, Thiem, etc. would be Wayne Ferreira, Guy Forget, Alberto Berasategui status in the 90's

this era is just top heavy
Agreed. Outside of the big 3, these guys are mental midgets. I mean just look at a guy like monfils...ranked above nadal as a junior, made a shytload of cash but hasn’t won anything worth a damn. The money has defined this era.

No THIS is the toughest era.

Nadal and Federeder aren't gone and who do you think he beat in the majority of his GS finals?

:mjlol: nope. can you count? 8 final wins are not the "majority" of wins ...

and in the relevant ones he played an aging federer and a post-injury nadal.. who do you think he beat?

Novak's peak started in 2011 ... by that point Federer was already declining with loses to Soederling, Del Potro, Murray .. and Novak's four wins all came after that. Well after that. In his prime Roger was steamrolling people like Murray in 3 sets.

and 2019 Novak ...

Novak became this "superman" in 2015 when there was no one to challenge him ,like Nadal did Roger and he did Nadal.

It's right there in black and white.

How are you not counting Murray?

Your argument fails right there, Djokovic dominated when it was at its strongest. Isn't really up for debate

Murray is part of an historically strong quartet :mjlol:? Only certain parts of certain deluded press corps think that. And some nationalists.

Do you think Nadal and Federer are at their peaks now? If not, when were they last at their peaks?

he is playing after the toughest era ...
He won all his slams in the big 3/4 era. Fed, Nadal, Stanimal and Murray are all slam winners and he has a winning record against them all. In the toughest era ever he was the best, simple and right there in your face to see

Declining or did competition just get stiff:ohhh:

Nothing you said proves "In the toughest era ever". Q1. Or did I miss the statements that prove it?

"Big 3/4" What's that? It's either 3 or it's 4.

He is playing Nadal and Federer after their peaks. Q2. Or do you think Nadal and Federer are at their peaks.

Declining or did competition just get stiff:ohhh:

Q3. How do you measure the difference between declining in general and other specific individual players getting better?

Tell me ...

-

And yeah I am looking for answers to all of those questions.

They were called the big four for a reason.

So which era is supposed to have been the toughest if not the one Djokovic dominated? Baring in mind there were also other GS winners in Delpo and Warwrinka mixing it up with these guys too.

Djokovic dominated the golden era.

Has this era not been considered the best of all time and whos won the most slams in that time frame:dwillhuh: and Nadal is only a year older than Djokovic so how is he playing him past his prime. Also Athletes now perform to high levels well in to their 30s so this nonsense that Fed declined drastically is moot. When Fed beats Nadal, Murray et al its never ending genius and all the expletives but when Djokovic beats him its because he is old. Okay mate:comeon:
