It's early in his comeback, and he's 39. Give him more time and a full season and he will be ok. Not saying he will win slams but he will be playing much better than today.
His body's been steadily breaking down. I don't know if his back or knee flared up today (I tuned in during the third set) but to get dropped 6-0 in the final set reminds me of when his body fell apart against that scrub Dimitrov in the US Open a couple years ago. He is not gonna get stronger at this stage of his career.

Might be time to open application to Holmes Retirement home. Happens to the best of them but Novak got 5 more years until he applies :blessed:

He’s done, choking 2 Championship points on serve vs Djoko was the end of his chapter.

He had a great run, 2nd greatest player of all time is no small feat.

If he retired tomorrow and became the local tennis pro at a country club he would play better than today. I hate to admit it but at 39 it’s a wrap. He just got biased down by a man named Hubert…

Tough to imagine Fed playing another year after this.
I think its about that time :wow:

I'm not even upset. We know father time is undefeated. He's had an immaculate career. I've watched him for ages - his body is not right anymore. He's not confident in his movement. Thats why he constantly shanks and mishyts, I think he cant get into position how he wants. But I'll watch every match until he hangs it up :mjcry:
