Fed winning slams as late as he did is a testament to how watered down the competition was. That's my guy but no way a 36 year old with a crumbling body should be winning Slams. Historically, the greats have been done winning slams by 31-32.
That's what makes these guys the greatest, Federer has adapted his game to play shorter points which allows him to not play a taxing brand of tennis.

They are too great and have changed what's considered normal, it isn't just that the rest aren't good enough. In another era these young guys would eat.

Zverev has really matured. Last year against Thiem, he was acting like he was a 5'10 player tryna play cute and run around the court hitting fancy shots

Now he realizes he's 6'6". More patient, and just using power and serves more often

If he can get to Del Potro level, then.... wow :picard::wow:
