Damn I hate seeing Thiem a shell of himself. I know he killed himself, and his wrist, and trying to work his way back and he'll probably never be a top 10 player again, but i'd like for him to be at least a R4/QF type of player at the very least

Shame injuries took over right as he was consistently getting good results against the Big 3 too

And the matches he would've had against Alcaraz would've been something to see

That guy doesn't have the mental aspect of the game.

With his big game no way should he be leaving in straights to Fognini, him and Shapovalov have been huge disapoointements especially Shapo.

Yeah nobody was expecting him to make the final or anything but at least win one match

Bruh shows so much promise but he gotta get his act together if he wants to be more than a poor man's Monfils

Yea man he was the only one who CONSISTENLY on clay AND hard courts who gave Nadal and Novak HELL every time he faced him. Low key, Zverev is the same way when he faces Rafa and Novak too when he's locked in; his game gives them two fits

I agree with you on Thiem, he looks cooked. Taking him far too long to climb back up, just can't put a run together.

If he could just win a couple 250's it'd make a huge difference but he's out here toiling to bums, damn shame man

I was thinking that too about Thiem and 250's. I thought he'd vulture some low level 250's and 500's and get back to the top 50 at least but he, like you said, can't put it back together
