I'm not cutting her down at all breh, don't know why we can't have nuaced discussions without someone talking about hating on someone or whatever

I'm just analysing what we're seeing on the court, already said credit to her for taking full advantage :manny:
It’s weird now when people don’t know that they are hating.

Why have that discussion NOW after she won her 2nd major championship?

And as I asked you, who is dominating the WTA right now?
Why not? It's the Tennis thread and we're talking about the match people talking about hating like its some foul shyt being said

Sabalenka has been dominating and Swiatek before her

Will say this about Coco she ain't got the level to carry this sport

This shyt is being gift wrapped and credit to her she's snatching it but yeah I think Andreeva gonna be a problem in a few years and Swiatek will be back

I'd have hoped her game would've been further along but truthfully she ain't ever gonna develop the power required to dominate and she's also very error prone
You speak as if Coco is done developing as a player at 21 years old lol.

Just re-watched the last game.

-Coco goes down 15-30, but keeps it together and ends up with AD.

-Sabalenka hits a huge shot that just hits the baseline to put it back to Deuce. Coco easily could have crumbled there, but didn't.

-Sabalenka ends up going up and being AD and Coco faults on her first serve after that. Could have been very easy to just crumble there and possibly double fault, but she kept her composure, and won the last few points

If Coco keeps her composure and minimizes the unforced errors (both things are hard to do for her), she's extremely tough to beat.

If she develops consistency and confidence with her first serve…
:wow:

Was watching the Euro broadcast and Chrisy Everett said it best….she gave TREMENDOUS props to Coco’s dad in saying he was mature enough to realize he as her coach got her as far as he could and stepped back and allowed Coco to pick her coaches.

A lot of parent coaches could learn from that. Same with when Judy Murray fell back from Andy and he hired Lendl

He does deserve credit for that

Looking at Zverev and Tsitsipas that kept their dads on for far too long, Tsistipas eventually made the change but too late

Zverev will have his dad out there right until he retires, he's pretty much uncoachable and his dad won't tell him the truth

I think Shapovalov's mother quit when she realised her son was dumb as shyt and would never change, did that early
