That behavior your trying to excuse cause hes '38' he was doing from jump... word to roddikk:

What I'm saying is he could have been doing that when young but now he genuine is creaking which is to be expected of a dude his age going up against the 2 best in the game

Who knows

Anyways I'll be routing for Alcaraz in the final

For a 38 year old to make it to a grand slam final is a ridiculous feat

Who was attempting that? You think at his age he won't be feeling it the closer he gets to making the final? We're talking best of 5

Be realistic lol

Nah can't do that. If that was the case, then there wouldn't be this big deal of "Oh Djokovic can get #25", "Oh he could win Wimbledon ". Can't use that BS fallback excuse just because he lost

There can be the big deal and also the reality that it's difficult as shyt for him to do it because of age.

Ish doesn't have to be in absolutes breh

Tale as old as time. That Aussie win over Alcaraz in the quarters was probably his last hurrah. Getting him in the quarters and not even a round later, just a couple days earlier, made a big difference too.

Sinner is a worse matchup for Novak, as well. He's too emotionless and too much of a machine to be distracted by Novak's antics (like playing possum).

I assume he'll play one more year because the opening is still: if these guys get knocked out early or injured, nobody else on the Tour is a threat. It's the same thing as Fed's late years.

And let's not forget Novak is losing in the semi finals to the top player in the world, he's hardly fully washed. Federer went through a similar phase of losing in semi/finals and then managed to win a couple more. This is Novak that beat Carlos at Aus in Jan remember, he still has something

Beatin hard court Carlos not that special though. Never got past quarters in AO and only won USO cause the top seeds were prioritized - Novax banned, Zverev withdrew, Nadal abdominal injury almost pulled out, Med comin off bein banned from Wimbledon and unluckily saw a peaking Kyrgios in his rare appearance.

Before Novak beat Carlos at AO he got washed by 74th ranked Botic months before at USO. Beatin Zverev at FO was probably Novak most impressive win this year. You can say he only losin to Jannik but he ain't beat no one impressive this Wimbledon. Saw Cobolli in the quarters of a grand slam :picard::dead: Manure was the only top 20 player he beat:scust:

How many people lead Alcaraz in the head to head

Funny to see you try and throw shade on his record against who many consider the best in the game

Fed at 38 was washin 2nd ranked Nadal and 8th ranked Nishikori in the semis and quarters of Wimbledon. Then went 5 hours wit peak Novak in the finals outplayin him in most areas

Ain't a got damn thing Novak done these last 2 years at 37/38yo was on the level of Federer at the same age.

You forgetting Djokovic defeated Alcaraz in the Olympics on clay for gold? Defeated Sinner in straights to win the Tour finals in 2023 after defeating Alcaraz in straight sets the day before?

When's the last time Sinner defeated Alcaraz?

You're nothing but a Djokovic hater that has not even a shred of objectivity

You're bringing up Fed when the conversation had nothing to do with him that's how threatened and rattled you are and THAT final where he was soooooo good, who won the final after a certain someone choked TWO match points?

Are you slow? You just said makin grand slam final at 38 is ridiculous and who else was attemptin that. nikka bringin up Olympics and Tour shyt when he was talkin about grand slams lol. I literally just showed you what 38yo Federer was doin in Wimbledon. He was playin at a much higher level than 37 or 38yo Djokovic.

Djokovic and Federer both won their last Grand Slam when they were 36 years old.

After that, Federer made ONE Grand Slam Final (where he lost on his favorite court to Djokovic) and made two semi-finals, where he lost in straight sets to both Nadal and Djokovic. :dead: .

Meanwhile, Djokovic has made one final since then along with four semi-finals, while going against the two best players in the world that are entering their primes.

Fed is a clear tier below Djokovic. He's an all-time great and a top three player in the history of men's tennis, but he is clearly below the GOAT.

Edit: Let's not even go back to them both being 30 years old and seeing how they performed after that. It's a 12-4 Grand Slam Championship massacre in favor of Djokovic.:damn:.

At the end of the day, Federer wasn't facing people at 38 years old that were on the level of an Alcaraz and Sinner right now. That's not a knock on him, but I don't see how that is debatable?

Djokovic is probably done winning Grand Slam's. I can really only see it if one of Alcaraz/Sinner get hurt or upset as he'll have to go through both of them to win with those two being ranked #1 and #2.
