I don't think Alcaraz has ever cruised like this to a QF in a Slam. A focused Alcaraz is better than Sinner and he seems to be on a mission after that Wimbledon loss.

I know it's the common thing to say that Alcaraz can peak higher than Sinner, but he'll almost need to play peak level the entire match (if they face off), and that's nearly impossible to do. I think Sinner gets undersold in the comparisons between the two. I'm not saying I wouldn't take Alcaraz over Sinner, but I think the entire line of saying Alcaraz peaks higher and IF he is focused is a little bit of lazy analysis/thinking people do. I'm not saying you're wrong with it, but he hasn't played Sinner yet this tournament and he's CLEARLY head and shoulders above anyone else left.

I mentioned it before, but I feel 2025 Roland Garros was the tournament Carlos Alcaraz's "Killer instinct" kicked in. That 5th set against Sinner was just ruthless

Before then, Carlos was just playing off of raw talent and instinct

The thing where I give Sinner the edge is that he's always had that killer instinct

Is Djokovic the best all time?

When it comes to the big 3 (Fed, Nadal, Nole)….to me the question is…BEST vs most ACCOMPLISHED.

To me…

Nole is the best of we go off ACCOMPLISHMENTS (won every major tournament there is to win, won the most Grand Slams, and holds the record for longest ranked #1)

Fed is the best if we go off highest PEAK (won Wimbledon and the US Open 5 straight year at the same time 03-07 and holds the record for most consecutive weeks ranked at #1)

Nadal is the best if we go off most CONSISTENT (only player to win a Grand Slam 10 straight years 2005-2014 and almost 20 years pf always being ranked in the top 10)
