People got mad when I said he's nowhere near Federer overall because most of his damage came on clay.

He's incredibly dominant on that surface, but just really good everywhere else. Those guys are called clay court specialists for a reason. It's just a weird surface for tennis.

Federer's grand slam tally however is kinda evenly spread out, which lets you know that he is the true gawd

Smh at having double digit grand slams and 60% of it come from one surface and then consider it the goat resume

Honestly, no. I didn't really think he'd win Wimbledon this year. I have no allegiance to any guy. I just find the arguments that people use against Rafa to be interesting. When Fed was a 13 GS winner with 0 Frenchies I don't remember people holding it against him.

That's true, but not the whole story. What i'm getting at is that he only won the grand slam because Nadal was out injured. Not an asterisk per se, but it's obvious that is a "flaw" in the resume let's call it. On the other hand, Rafa did get them all and even did it against Fed.
