Welp, looking like another US Open SF where the GOAT falls short, she looks flat out there...
Not surprising brehs. Serena made 40+ unforced errors against Halep, likely to do same here (she choked in last year's semis too) and she's playing best server on tour who doesn't make many errors (Murray-like defense).
Pliskova was always winning this, and if she couldn't beat a 35 year old woman she might as well just packed it in tbh

it's amazing serena has won so much because her attitude is horrible. every time things are going perfect a she starts moping around near tears. If it's a tough match like last night she gets angry. only time she is in good mood is when is a complete beatdown.

Serena's the best server on the WTA bar none
Pliskova does not have Murray like defense
Her movement is below average, her strengths lie in her serve and heavy groundstrokesPliskova wasn't always winning this which is why Serena's still favourite despite being a set down
She's tight/nervous, can't buy a 1st serve, groundstrokes flakey, if she could rally she'd win but she's lsing these games in less than 3 strokes
