It’s still considered a mainly middle to upper class sport. There are a lot of barriers to entry sadly.

Yeah, we got maybe one or 2 parks in my city with legit tennis courts, plus you gotta go out and buy rackets, balls, etc, while most brehs already have a basketball and every park has basketball courts.


I doubt golf will ever fully reach urban areas, but I'll hold out slim hope for tennis

Shouldn't be. Doesn't cost that much for a racket and a few tubes of balls.

But it does cost a lot to enter camps and tournaments.

To sponsor your child to go to these clubs, equipment, getting professional coaches, travel etc is extremely expensive. That’s why Mr Williams is considered a god for making his two daughters GOAT athletes despite their impoverished background.

This may match the 2008 Wimbledon final between Nadal and Federer..... the greatest tennis game I ever watched.

not even close. that match was beyond incredible. Nadal being two sets up, losing the next 2 and beasting out in the last set. fukk
