If he ends up with more majors than Fed or Joker, plus he's won on every surface at least twice, he most def can be included into the Goat discussion. Do I think he's the Goat? No, but if he ends up with GS record, he in the argument.

His injury history is his problem. He missed Wimbledon the year after beating Fed and then won it the next year when he came back healthy. He’ll win the US Open and then miss it completely the next year. He does shyt like that.

But what about 250s?, 500s? Masters series? (he has 30+). To not have defended at least one non-clay throughout his long and successful career is nuts.

Clay God, sits on a throne on his own there but forget Fed&Djoko, I'm wondering if I can even put him ahead of Sampras (outside clay ofc)

This is a random ass metric that no one would take seriously. "Defended" a title on a non-clay surface is some of the most random arbitrary shyt ever.

It's not, title defences are a very important metric, the tour is played off-clay approx 75% of the time. A player of his stature shouldn't be in the position
