Rafa is playing like he is bored and basically is playing these dudes real conservative. He’s daring him to make a shot. I honestly think he’s just played not to lose. They haven’t made him up his level.

True. He has seem a bit bored at times this tourney and looks to just want to get through it.

For the life of me, I just never understood why people dont just go for broke vs Rafa. Rarely does he lose in a Grand Slam (besides to Novak or Fed) if somebody just played better tactical tennis than him. You gotta redline against him

Tough for me to see Rafa being bored. His serve has been shaky too. Berrettini had him in the first set but gagged the tiebreak and couldn't recover. He was hitting bombs but just erratic as hell.

How many guys on the tour can do that though? Him and Stan? That clown Kyrgios could but he doesn't care. It's just a wasteland out there. 100 Goffin/Ferrer types.

True cause you gotta be talented and a big hitter to blast em off the court:

Cilic
Del Potro
Soderling
Rosol (not talented)
Krygios
Fognini
Verdasco
Berdych
Mueller

Those are the ones who've blasted Rafa off the court. Aint too many of them exist anymore
