she took a major nose dive ever since she got popped for whatever juice she was on. Maria is literally a slightly successful Kournikova but with 40% less looks and 40% more height.

Couldn’t eat in the Williams era and now is dealing with straight set exits from the new class. Time for her to pack it in.
vekic also had a good 2nd half last year.

i beleive she was favoured to win.

maria is overrated when it comes to looks. shes got the shoulders of a man vekic for instance and more attractive than maria ever was.

Nadal and Novak had the EXACT same record when both won their 900th match :mindblown:

Tiafoe's wind-up on his forehand drives me nuts. Why the fukk isn't he using a quicker stroke? :dame:

He could be a really good player if he cleaned that up.

He could add 5 mph to his serve with a more fluid form too. Youd be surprised how many con man coaches there are out there. My serve is more fluid. I gotta get that clip uploaded here of it

Kournikova being better looking is debatable.

Breh, prime Anna most definitely wins over Maria in looks

Kournikova shytS on sharapova in looks

same shyt i was thinking:snoop:

As a coach its like this

You gotta decide whether or not changing from whats working is worth the upside while experiencing short term difficulty in transition

Its hard to change a forehand after 15-20 years of playing. I get it

I can see how someone might have decided you know what..his forehand is quirky but it works so im not fukkin with it :hubie:

But the serve? Cmon. I remember years ago someone put a clip up of him on here and i mentioned the serve immediately. Its still the same shyt

He keeps going like this hes not only gonna serve slower than he otherwise could but he may also develop back problems

Wake me up when he places well outside of challenger tournaments..nevermind that they were all in the south-eastern US..ones that he didnt even win outright.

Bright side is that he is 17 and was smart enough to not go to college. Ill definitely root for him but Im not dumb enough to fall for any hype of any US players until they actually win something. He is #2 in juniors which is nice..

I really like his slice backhand and squash shot forehand...watched this because of French Open (albeit har-tru is a bit slower)...his serve technique is absolutely horrid and screams out injury to me. Sprayed shots everywhere too. This was in 2013 though...and maybe he responds better on a bigger stage. If he can grow up to 6'3 and fix that terrible serve then he has a chance. I do like his aggression and forehands up top. Also, seems to be a natural in terms of tactics and improvising shots. Good to see him coming to the net too. But even at that age..ive seen, played against and beat better players that didnt pan out to anything.

I called out his serve technique in 2015 on here...from a clip in 2013 :deadmanny: its 2020 and its still fukked up :bryan:

Thought this dude could be a James Blake esque player in the future but he can't play on grass or clay and he's not consistent enough to get seeded at the Grand Slams.

Point taken but

Hes about to be out of the top 75

And a flaw is a flaw. People have different strokes and thats fine but his talent isnt being optimized. I am actually a coach as well..certified through ptr at the top level :yeshrug:

Im not just a tennis fan saying shyt

I'm looking over the bracket and there's only a few guys with a chance to beat Nadal on his half of the draw, @MillionMills :patrice:

The first shot would be in the 4th round with Kyrgios if his bytch ass makes it that far. He hates Nadal and McEnroe just told him after tonight's match that he'd donate $1,000 to the fire relief efforts for every set he wins the rest of the way. :patrice:

Thiem would be in the quarters and then Medvedev or Stan in the semis. :mjcry:

I'm worried about Berrettini in Fed's draw. :patrice:

Kyrgios, Thiem and Medvedev all have great chances to beat Nadal. Isn't this statistically Nadal's weakest major?

I dont worry about Berrettini against Fed. That's easy money.

Where is Tsitsipas and Zverev in the draw?

For example..

Sara errani made it to top 5 rank in singles..

With a fukking back scratch method serve technique that 5 year olds use. Probably never cracked 90 mph on a serve in her life

She clearly had top level coaching

If a player is winning you dont want to mess with whats working too much

But frances has had a terrible run and may want to tweak some things

I started with a girl who was 10 that served like errani

I changed her to a much better technique and she was hitting aces and made top 5 regional ranking by 12

Wimbledon actually is worst for Nadal if you go by % and/or win-loss record.

The new surface that he's playing on though, is the same they use at the WTF and we know he's never been a champion there and only made the finals there once. I think if Nadal makes it to the second week, he's making it to the Finals imo
