That's the best set I've ever seen from Kyrgios. His demeanor/body language was one of focus and purpose. He didn't get frustrated at any point. He didn't give up on long points. He played smart and varied his tactics depending on the situation. Played in complete control/composure.

That guy is the player who could be the best on the tour and why he's so frustrating as a tennis fan.

Townsend needs to get her big ass in shape. It's inexcusable the condition she's in as a pro tennis player.

Of course, the question then becomes, why hasn't she taken her conditioning seriously yet? Then I looked up her career stats and saw she's made over $2 million in her career and she's never been ranked higher than 61. So why would she bother if she's already made that much money?

It's no different than when @malbaker86 and I figured that's why none of the young guns on the men's side have taken a leap. They're already financially set so what's the motivation?

Kyrgios just got called for a time violation and the announcers said they're calling it very strictly this year. Right after the announcers said that, Kyrgios started doing the Nadal routine towards the ump and basically asked if he's gonna be held to the same standard. :salute:

We'll find out Monday night when those two square off :shaq:

This young brother Mikael Ymer about to take the 2nd set off :ehh:

Kyrgios' forehand looks like a slider tonight. There's crazy movement on it. IF he's focused, he could run Nadal off the court. Of course, I expect he'll have a meltdown and get worked in straight sets, but I can always hope. :ehh:

I watched Ymer's match against Tiafoe in Auckland. Kid's got some talent.

Just stays in damn near each point until the other player cracks a bit. If Simon was a more aggressive shot maker with his movement, he could've been a contender.

Exactly but i mean we're talking about a French player here....they aren't built like that :russ:

Ymer with the break :ehh:. Need the young bruh to push this to 5 sets :blessed:
