Last night's match was great. Wanted Kyrgios to win but I was just happy to see him give full effort again throughout a match. He had openings but couldn't capitalize and Nadal made very few mistakes. If Kyrgios continues to compete like that and cleans up a few rough spots, he's gonna win a major. I just hope this change with his attitude is permanent.
I hope Thiem beats Nadal but I'll believe it when I see it when it comes to majors. Interestingly, this is only their second meeting on a hard court (2018 US Open went five sets). Everything else has been on clay.
Commentators kept saying Raonic could give Novak trouble but he's won two SETS out of 23 against Nole in his career. Of course, they've had quite a few tie breaks and Raonic's serve has been devastating in this tournament. Still, I'll believe it when I see it.
I got Nadal, Zverev, Fed and Novak advancing to the semis.
