Yeah, I know the kid played well but Rafa just fell apart. It was hard to watch. Novak is going to win easy now. Oh well.

just read his presser and he was saying this:

“It was not enough this time. I tried to fight to the end, I had a good attitude throughout the game and I give all the credit to him, who raised his level a lot after the first two sets. I made clear mistakes in the tiebreak. that I should not have committed, there I was able to win the game", declared the Balearic. "It is a missed opportunity in the sense of being able to continue fighting because I have been very close to the semifinals, but life goes on. Of course I am sad because losing a match like this in a tournament that means so much to me is not positive, but we must continue. I will continue fighting to generate situations and opportunities like those of today", said the Spaniard.

:comeon: You can take 10 of his French Opens away and he'd still have 10 grand slams and a top-5ish resume of all-time
Let me rephrase. I'm talking about his GOAT resume. And compared to Novak and RF, he's been relying on clay for about 7 years now. He snuck in 2 US Open titles since 2014 because of easy draws. He hasnt won the Aussie since 2009 :scust: hasnt won Wimbledon since 2010 :scust:

Hasnt beaten Novak on hard court since 2013 :picard:

Hasnt beaten RF on hard since 2014 :picard:

Anyways I was just poking some fun at the Rafa fans

#21 may come at the French :mjcry:

Yeah, his resume for goat is shaky. You're right though, he's probably rolling around in clay now :mjcry:

I actually think all of the big 3 are done at the US
Those young gunners are going to take that over.
US was always the grand slam most prone to a non-big 3 member winning it

Yea def because that gas tank be getting lower by the time the USO comes around. I think since Rafa will never be one to be able to get free cheap points off his serve, he def gonna need his draw to open up for him to win a slam off clay. We say how Sissypass was able to servebot his way to the win tonight. I think Rafa had only like 2 break points the last three sets.

low key, I want Medvedev to win it all

He choked the third set tie break. It should have been over in straight sets. This is one that will definitely gnaw at him.
