Love her man. I was like 4 rows back at that match. Hate that she lost. She was more aggressive than usual...her forehand down the line was fukking cooking. Her footwork got sloppy though and Kerber played well. Sloane had to go to Kerbers forehand more.

Sidenote I saw Pegula on a practice court looking like shyt and I tried to give her tips and talk to her. Needless to say i got bencic tomorrow

I don't know why more guys don't try it instead of always getting into long rallies but maybe Novak is such a great returner it's easier said than done.

THIS. Roger tries this quite a bit and Nole will do any of the following (in order):

1. return it at his shoes
2. return it cross court before he can get near the net
3. return it at the baseline

or

4. hit the return at the net

probably what it is, they scared to make a mistake against him especially defensively.

It’s crazy because Kei does everything Novak does but just a straight to dvd version of him
