People will, and should realize she's still only 18 years old.

This was one of the best tournaments I've seen in a long time, men or women. Both of these chicks put on some absolute clinics, and a fantastic show.

It's because she looks like a model who picked up a tennis racket and she has a colder, more stoic demeanor than Leylah. She doesn't strike me as a shythead at all, just extremely competitive and confident.

She's bleeding sure but in a tennis match at that point to get a stoppage sit down and compose yourself after looking you wouldn't be able to serve it out is kinda messed up. She gets broken then gets patched up then she's thinking about the two previous championship points.

Just reaching the 4th round at Wimbledon this year the British media were already beginning to hype her up. We haven't had a proper women's player since the 70's when Wade was still playing and she was the last to win a major Wimbledon in 77. Emma winning this has expedited the expectations by a coupe of years.
