Lol, man, I'm telling y'all that arguing with the official was some heat of the moment shyt. If it was real like that Leylah would have called her out at the net or in the press conference like 3 or 4 other people have already done with their opponents in this tournament.

shyt gets hot, feelings get involved, and you argue passionately when you feel like you were wronged or didn't get a call. But you also know ultimately that L is on you so come back and get 'em next time. Hence her remark about hopefully going home with the right trophy next time.

It's not that serious, and hopefully, they get to play each other in several other important matches when it's all said and done :salute:

it was exactly 5 minutes. Not saying it cost her the match but a 5 min break when you have momentum and the AD to break is an eternity.

Again, rhythm is important for serving more than returning. She could have just as easily double faulted after not moving for 5 minutes with a bloody bandage all of a sudden on her leg
