That may be true but your post stated it's official he's not going to be able to play which is incorrect.

If he can’t get into the country, he can’t play. The prime minister of Australia stated that he must have the right exemption because he will not get special treatment. His team claimed medical despite him trying to enter the country for a sport event. They denied him before he landed.
