I said before the tourney he has an easy path to the Final with Djokovic out. I already have him penciled in with Medvedev.

Monfils could obviously lose any match but I’ve never seen him look so aggressive and decisive.

Man is banging first serves at a high percentage and any forehand that kacman leaves short he’s going big and just crushing the ball every time, and still has the court coverage too.

I’ll hold out hope yet again that this is a new Monfils and he’ll get a major before it’s over

I'll say this for Monfils...he was playing his best tennis before the Covid break and it looks like he's gotten back to that form with crowds back

I wouldn't pick him over Nadal (or Med), but if there was a major for Monfils to get...it might be this 1
