Credit to Alacaraz he's legit insane game and talent at the age of 19, was an incredible match. Probably goes on to win it in this form and made some history.

madrid, because of the altitude, don’t really say much as far as prep for the FO outside of match play. Rome will tell a lot but yea this week is a positive week for Novak. Him and Rafa need about 2-3 matches at Rome to be ready for the FO

Yeah I agree. Novak is building himself back up nicely and to beat Novak/Nadal over 5 sets is another level you need to get to.

But alcaraz has youth and energy on his side but still major tournaments are different
