There was a racquet event at Rockefeller center that a close friend of mine went to and there was no sign of cordae. Was strange but may be nothing

It's easy to get caught up in the hype for some of these young players. They get caught up in their own hype too and end up being flashes in the pan
Looked like a different player tonight. Last year, she was blasting shots all over the court. Had no confidence in this one.

What I do know is she cheated on line calls throughout the juniors in usta tournaments. She is not well regarded

Yeah I remember some sort of coaching shuffle being mentioned at wimbledon.
I imagine with both her and Naomi that perhaps the coaches demanded a raise and neither were having it (?). Amongst other things of course
It's just a lot different playing as a favorite than an underdog with nothing to lose. The game is so psychological that if there isnt perfect balance in the mind the game unravels quite easily

I said last year I thought Leylah would be able to keep up the higher level of play longer
she went through the tougher draw last year and has been far more consistent...it's only injuries that have slowed her down in regards to building momentum

Will see if advancing gives her confidence or she gets rattled under increased expectations again. Could go either way. Shes under the radar right now
