Novak is 36 now.....idk why more players don't put his fitness to the test. I'm talking working in more drop shots and try to run him from side to side, etc. Just trying to beat him from the baseline not gonna happen unless your clicking on allllll cylinders

That use of variety is what kept Fucosvics in the 1st set but he had to have been demoralized losing it, and feel shots are harder to utilize if you're down on your self.

I wonder this every time I step onto the court or watch others play.

In my lessons I say: simple strategy- hit where the opponent is not. Lol

Then if I am feeding a game and they hit to me in the middle of the court, I catch the ball on my strings without it bouncing and I fling it somewhere

well Iga got the first set against Claire, I'm wondering if they can actually hold serve in the 2nd set.
