hoping for his sake he’s just coasting until the next set and will leave it all out there then
If you’ve ever had full body cramps it takes at least 24 to 48hr to recover with complete rest and electrolytes. I’m shocked he’s still out there to be honest…man needs to be in a hospital getting an IV. Testament to his unbelievable conditioning but he’s done.

That 2nd set was probably the most physical of Alacaraz's career to date

He needs to improve his conditioning long term because his playing style will put a huge strain on his body and legevity in the game

I hate injuries
I don’t consider this an injury though. He’s steamrolled his opposition up until this point in the tournament. If he has severe cramping, his team/trainer didn’t prepare him to handle joker and the heat. Might need to look at his diet too but somebody needs to be held accountable.

It's a forced injury.

The intensity of that 2nd set was crazy.

Alacaraz can now see what it takes to go up against Djokovic in best of five, it ain't nothing like going up against anyone else bar a fully healthy Nadal on clay.
