Alcaraz/Djokovic in the final before the US Open. Gonna be really interesting to see how Novak approaches the match tomorrow, whether he goes all out to win or uses it to experiment in preparation for New York.

Yeah sometimes you never know with Novak, if he loses first set he could just coast and accept a straight sets loss and take notes for US open but then he can turn it on and be awesome also.

Bookmark this post and run it back in 2027 and he'll be, SHOULD HE REMAIN INJURY FREE, will be at 10 GS titles and have won the career grand slam

His matches, outside of the first match up with Nadal, against Rafa and Novak all have that tense big match feel. Same when Fed, Nadal, and Novak were forming the real big three in 2011.

This kinda heat can't be safe to play in but if Novak can't trust his bh in rallies against Carlos...these matchups will start to become one sided.
