I don't care much about Joker but I'm not about to do a whole "It's the era" discussion on him. He came up with Fed and Rafa still in their prime and took many slams off them. Fed's early years didn't have the best comp tbh.

Oh really? In Federer's era he faced

Goran Ivanišević
Pete Sampras
Andre Agassi
Patrick Rafter
Marat Safin

Outside of Wawrinka, who did Djokovic face in his prime that was on that level?

I'll wait :ohhh:

This wildly inaccurate makes me wonder if you watched tennis back then. goran won a slam at the back end of his career he was basically the 90s Roddikk. Pete ,goran, rafter were done before roger even won his first slam let alone entered his prime. I’ll give you Agassi but he was at the end of his career , safin was very talented but injured to often and extremely undisciplined.

Rogers era for his prime dominance 2004-2007was:
Hewitt
Roddikk
Safin
Old agassi
Young Nadal
Blake
Nalbandian
And a few others

At the end of the day both Novak and fed have taken advantage of a 3/4 year stretch of weak era to inflate their slam count

I knew this argument was coming, I was waiting for it lol

It's funny how people use Federer's greatness against him. Being able to win titles at an advanced age really made it seem like Djokovic and Nadal shared eras with him. If you discount Goran, Sampras, and Agassi... then discount Nadal and Djokovic's wins against Federer than. Which in turn diminishes their era even more where the only players that were even competition for them was Wawrinka and 1-2 years of Del Petro before injuries made him incapable of competing

God Bless Novak and Nadal for taking advantage of their weak era which was an old Federer, young inexperienced players, and one-dimensional players. Thank you
